I went to the country club with my sister yesterday. Somehow, unsolicited this woman starts telling me that she had been on antibiotics for 10 days (and hence couldn't drink) and that she had a boob infection. I was taken aback by this. Is this normal? I asked her if she was nursing-- she said no ( " I have a 17 year old and a 20 year old, I would be in jail if I was nursing." )
She said, usually, bacteria comes in through the nipple. Then she continued to say, unsolicited, "well 1. either my husband was sucking on my nipple and his dirty mouth brought the bacteria in. 2. he dirty fingers from twisting my nipple... or 3. I went to a lake the week before. But I'd like to think it was 1. or 2. because that sounds more exciting." At some point when she was telling this I covered my ears and said "inappropriate!!"
Whatever.
