Stiff Coffee and Gotan Project

This library is an old theater. instead of leaving it empty-- to go bad (eh hem rockford)... they put in shelves of books... I think very smart.



I am sitting waiting for the 3Js to send me their stuff. Surfing craigslist jobs... and listening to Gotan Project

Listening to Gotan Project reminds me of crusty bread and apple butter.... and a bitter lettuce salad. And farmers cheese purchased from an old man on the street.

or dulce de leche on a croissant. yum!



I used to sit in the place above and watch people. You could buy antique handles and pulls for dressers there.
One thing I love about the Portenos is this: the hood-rats are political in nature.. and patient enough with their graffiti that they make well thought out stencils and then spray their message with it. Rather than big bubble letters of non-sense.
