Sounds of Freedom

There comes a time in life when I feel like you are almost too old to make new friends- or- in the alternative- it gets very difficult to make new friends. Like, you can always join some club. Or group. Or professional association.

These are things I worry about with my future.

To be honest. I think about it and i instantly freeze up and get scared.

You can't be alone and old. Friends are what make the way when everyone in your family is dead and you are old. It's true. Or I suppose friends and your children.

So is that the point where you start making friends just to have as many as possible--- or just choose really healthy ones so you know you will never be old and alone.

In Rockford, I have a fistful of people that I could call late at night if I needed a ride. All of whom would help me out if need be. I have a few people in the Bay area as well.

Jewel said it best. "No longer lend your strength to that which you wish to be free from Fill you lives with love and bravery And we shall lead a life uncommon"


Life lesson, just be nice and you will have friends....?
